"Can we fix it ? Yes we can!"

The Health Office is open every day from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm for the treatment of illness and minor injuries, as well as preventative well care. I am also available for consultation on any health related issues or concerns. Students may visit the Health Office anytime during the day with a pass. However, during a student's lunch time (their free time) a pass is not required.

By NJ State law, students are not permitted to carry medications (prescription or non prescription). Any medication to be administered during the school day must be prescribed by a physician and administered by the school nurse, after the required written approvals have been obtained. The form for this approval is available in the Health Office. Only students with "life threatening" conditions such as diabetes, asthma, or anaphylaxis, may be permitted to carry and self administer their own medication after the required written approval has been obtained. This form is also available in my office. Or, you may download the form at the bottom of this page.

If your child is ill or not feeling well in the morning, please keep him/her at home. Children who are not feeling well typically do not learn. Children with a temperature of 100 degrees or more may not be in school and must be fever free for at least 24 hours before returning to school.

A cumulative health record is maintained for all students grades K-12. This includes all immunizations, health screenings performed in school, physical exams, and physician notes. Kindly send any recent immunizations, physicals, and physician notes to the Health office to be added to this record.

Information for parents of incoming 6th graders regarding the mandatory Tdap and Menactra immunizations may be obtained by clicking on the file at the bottom of this page.

Please contact me at anytime during office hours if you have any questions or if I may provide assistance regarding any health concerns for your student or family. My telephone number/voicemail is (609)631-4149 Ext. 3604. Or, you may email me at My fax number is (609)631-4116.
