We are Yardville STARS! - Students Taking Action and Responsibility for Success
It is with great excitement that I write to introduce myself as the new Principal of the Yardville Elementary School. I am honored to join such a wonderful school community! I have heard about the excellent reputation of the Yardville Elementary Community. I look forward to establishing a close working relationship with a tremendous staff and our Yardville families to continue to provide meaningful learning opportunities and experiences for our children.
Prior to joining the Hamilton Township School District, I have served in several roles in a number of different districts in New Jersey. I have previously held the positions of fifth grade teacher, basic skills teacher, and staff trainer of instruction/technology in the Jackson School District. As I transitioned to administration, I joined the Barnegat Township School District as Supervisor of Elementary Education, and served as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction for the Stafford Township Schools. Most recently, I served as the Principal of the Thomas Richards School in Waterford, New Jersey, working with preschool, second and third grade students.
On my first day of teaching, my mentor told me, “Every decision that you ever make should be made in the best interests of students.” This principle has guided me throughout my career as an educator. My goal is to establish an environment that allows for students to engage in relevant and meaningful learning opportunities. Everyone who serves in the life of a child has a most important role. Parents, teachers, support staff, administrators, and any others who interact with students on a daily basis must create an environment where students can become their best selves. It is my pleasure to work collaboratively to help our students learn and grow, and I look forward to beginning this journey with all of you.
I can’t wait to see students for our first day on September 5th! In the meantime, please call me or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any questions.
