    If you are a 6th grade student, please refer to the Google Classroom for information. The classroom code is ivq75be.

    In each grade level, the Google Classroom will explain the expectations. 6th and 7th grade students are on a Day 1 and Day 2 schedule, so there will be assignments posted that need to be completed at the end of the day. 

    Standards, Objectives, Activities, and General Class Information:

     Day 1: SWBAT study the effects of the Baroque time period in music.
    Day 2:  SWBAT studies the effects of the Classical  time period in music.
    Day 3: SWBAT study the effects of the Romantic time period in music.
    Day 4: SWBAT complete an informal assessment on the 3 relevant time periods in music.
    Day 5: SWBAT study the musical idiom of Jazz.
    Day 6:  SWBAT study the musical idiom of Country.
    Day 7:  SWBAT study the musical idiom of Soul and Hip Hop
    Day 8:  SWBAT study the musical idiom of Rock and Roll
    Day 9:   SWBAT select new songs based on the genres they have learned about recently.
    Day 10:  SWBAT complete a formal assessment related to the 3 time periods, and new genres of music.
