• My name is Mrs. Wilson and I am the librarian at Lalor. I am very excited to welcome students into the library every day. As a media specialist, I have the opportunity to incorporate technology into each lesson.

Learning how to read just doesn’t happen in the classroom. Parents and caregivers play an important role in supporting readers. It is important for reading to become part of your child’s daily life. Students are encouraged to read at least 20 minutes each night. Please join us for the month of March in making sure your child(ren) read each night. You can do this by completing the reading log that was sent home. Each time you complete a sheet just return it to school and you will receive another one. At the end of the month, all the minutes will be tallied. One student from each class, who read the most minutes, will have the opportunity to have lunch with our principal!
