Degrees and Certifications:
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Home Economics from Glassboro State College (Rowan University). After graduation I worked 17 years as an Office Manager for a state of the art technology firm. Upon the company being purchased by Acer and relocating to California, I knew the time had come to pursue my true passion of teaching.
In 1998 I began teching at Hamilton High West. In the fall of 1999, I split my time between West and Steinert as our program really started to grow in enrollment. In 2000, I was asked to join the Spartan team full time!! I have really enjoyed my time teaching young men and women how to read a recipe, prepare food for themselves, and work safely in the kitchen.
My husband and I have three grown children and in March became first time grandparents. Andrew is a happy child and loves to facetime with me, as he lives in Florida. We were then blessed in October with a second grandson, Owen. Owen lives in Yardville with my daugher and son in law, and so I get Grammie kissses often.
I am also the Faculty Advisor for the Baking Club. We meet in October to organize and schedule baking days for November and December. The club makes desserts for families receiving food baskets for the holidays.
