A note to my students: First and foremost, relax. I have spoken with all of you and provided you with ample work to do over these two weeks. I ask that you log into our Google classroom at least once a day to see what I have posted. You all have hard copies of the assignments. If you have ANY questions about any of the work i've provided for you, please just ask in the Google classroom or e-mail me privately at cjacobs@hamilton.k12.nj.us. REMEMBER... there are no stupid questions. I'll miss you guys..... See you soon

It is with a sense of pride that I introduce myself as a Nottingham teacher. I have been an English teacher since 2000. I started my career in Charlotte, North Carolina. When I moved back to New Jersey, I began working at East Brunswick High School. From there, I spent two years at North Brunswick High School.

I started at Nottingham in 2005. I am a Hamilton resident and all three of my children attend Hamilton Townshiop schools. Over the years, I have recieved my Masters in Students with Disabilities. This venture was brought about when my boys were diagnosed with autism. One of my boys has a myriad of challanges along with aspergers. This has opened my eyes to the plethora of challenges our students with disabilites face. I am my childrens' biggest advocate and strongly feel a sense of fate has brought me to my current vocation as a special education teacher here at Nottingham. As a parent and a teacher, I am aware of what our students need to be successful. I understand the importance of parent involvement and encourage communication. Students with disabilites face challanges that are unique to their diagnosis. I am aware, prepared, and motivated to help your child to be the most successful he/she can be in my classroom. I love my job. I especially love my job as a Northstar teacher. Go Northstars!
