    • Day 11 - 3/30/20
    • Activity – Newsela Articles – Students will login in using their google account on Newsela.com. Hager’s google classroom will be automatically linked/ synced.  Students will read the following article: “Study Finds: More teens vaping.” Upon completion of reading, students will write/ type a one page (3 paragraphs) summary on Google Docs.

     

    • Day 12 - 3/31/20
    • Activity – Newsela Articles – Students will login in using their google account on Newsela.com. Hager’s google classroom will be automatically linked/ synced.  Students will read the following article: “The Difference between Empathy and Sympathy.” Upon completion of reading, students will write/ type a one page (3 paragraphs) summary on Google Docs.

     

    • Day 13 - 4/1/20
    • Activity - Chapter 4: Being Mentally/ Emotionally Healthy - Students will read all three parts in Chapter 4 (4.1, 4.2, 4.3).

     

    • Day 14 - 4/2/20
      • Activity - Chapter 4: Being Mentally/ Emotionally Healthy - Students will read all three parts in Chapter 4 (4.1, 4.2, 4.3). Upon completion of reading, students will write all terms on a google doc and then complete the key term check on the companion website.     • Day 15 - 4/3/20
      • Activity - Chapter 4 Assessment - Students will complete a formative assessment by using the companion website to complete the “Check Your Knowledge” activity.  Students will save and send to Mr Hager upon completion.

      • Activity: Celebration to end of MP3 Health Class - Students will write a two paragraph reflection of Health class.  The two paragraphs should include:

        • 1 thing you would improve

      • Activity:  Introduction to Body Systems:  Students will demonstrate knowledge of new terminology used during the body systems unit.  Students will complete a survey and watch the introductory video using the following link:

      • Activity: Providing Support and Movement - Students will complete the downloadable worksheet (Activity A) via Google Classroom to complete the review of Chapter 17.1.
