    My neighbor

Good morning!!  Today is our last day before we go into Spring Break:))))  Today, I am asking you to listen to the students at Berklee College of Music, who are quarantined, but still put together music apart, but TOGETHER.  Just as we are putting school together as we are apart.  I hope this music inspires you to spread some LOVE today!  Please remember to come back to REMOTE LEARNING which will begin, again, on MONDAY, 4/13/2020.

Click this link to hear what these amazing Berklee students created:

    What the World Needs Now

    Ideas:

    • Send a letter to a family member or friend from whom you are apart
    • Set up a family ZOOM meeting
    • Call a grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend.....
    • Help around the house a little more today
    • Say thank you
    • Put a sign in your window thanking our first responders.  Maybe one will see your good wishes on their way to help others.

I want to wish you and your family a safe and happy spring break!  Get outside, disconnet, and just be a kid!!  You do not need to tell me how you decided to spread a little love.  I thank you for all of your hard work these past three weeks!!!  YOU ARE INSPIRING!!!

    Stay well.  Be kind:)

Thursday, March 19, 2020 Good Morning!  First, let me say THANK YOU!!!!  You have done such a great job in Checking In each day and asking questions!  I hope you had a chance to listen to Mr. Nicky's Mesopotamia Song, if not, click on the link below to listen (or listen again)!  Today, we will work on the inside flap of the map you worked on yesterday.  Use textbook page 96 to write five facts about the geography of Ancient Mesopotamia.  Then in the center squares (if you are missing this paper, just use plain paper and make a box with nine squares), and use the textbook pages 108 - 113 to write a brief description AND draw a small picture of the effects/achievements which came from Mesopotamia as people settled around the Tigris and Eurphrates Rivers in order to farm.  Example:  The development of irrigation to bring water to plants.  Then use the compass rose and the map to determine if statements are TRUE or FALSE.   These directions are also on the Ancient Mesopotamia Map Directions - Inside Flap.
