WELCOME TO MRS. MORGAN'S WEBSITE
This year in Math we will be working on skills that are addressed in the student's IEP. For that reason every student is working on different concepts. Together as a group we will be learning geometry, algebraic expressions, and skills needed in everyday life. Other concepts covered will be double digit division, adding/subtracting fractions, adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing decimals.
In ELA this year we will focus on grammar, writing journals, novels according to grade levels, and using Google Classroom. Every Friday we will work on our social skills by reviewing coping strategies and Zones of Regulation.
In Science we will cover weather and water, ecosystems and populations, and waves and energy. In Social Studies we will learn about the Middle East, North Africa, West Africa, and Asia.
Summative- 50%- tests, projects, research papers, and similar assignments
Formative- 40%- classwork, notebook, quizzes, and similar assignments
Individual- 10%- homework
