Mrs. Jennifer McKeever

        Mrs. McKeever is a veteran teacher in the field of Special Education. Following teaching positions in California, Arizona and Ohio, and a move to New Jersey, she started teaching for the HTSD in 1995 and has been teaching at Reynolds Middle School since 1996. Mrs. McKeever is most proud of establishing the Multisensory Reading Program at Reynolds in 2001, providing a structured literacy, research-based multisensory approach for students with language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. As a lifelong learner, she continually strives to become a more effective teacher to help her students become stronger readers and achieve their greatest potential. She completed an M.A degree in 2018 from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a dual focus in Literacy & Multisensory Reading. Most recently in spring of 2020, she earned Certification as a New Jersey Reading Specialist.
