    National Honor Society Application Information and Eligibility Requirements 

    Applications will be mailed home to rising seniors over the summer after your junior year cumulative GPA is finalized. If you do not receive an application by July 15th, please email Ms. Koutsouradis at ckoutsouradis@hamilton.k12.nj.us to see if you are eligible to apply.

    The National Honor Society extends membership invitations to those students deemed outstanding in the areas of scholarship, leadership, character, and service. If you meet the required GPA and believe you have demonstrated these qualities to the best of your ability, you are encouraged to complete and return the application form. The application is a reflection of you and should mirror the attributes you possess.

    The following are requirements of the application:

    1. A minimum 3.75 GPA at the end of your junior year (must be a rising senior)
    2. A minimum of 20 hours of community service from the past three years
    3. A list of leadership positions held and involvement in clubs/activities/work inside and outside of school
    4. An essay on a specific topic determined by the NHS Selection Committee

    Applications will be due to Ms. Koutsouradis in the Guidance Office on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 2:30pm. No late applications will be considered.
