Miss Kristina Fraunberger
Hello everyone! I'm beyond excited to join the Hamilton community as a Preschool Teacher this year!
A little about myself: My name is Kristina Fraunberger and I grew up in the West Windsor Plainsboro School District. I have a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Rider University and obtained my teaching certificate from Rutgers University. I've taught First Grade for the past 3 years in Newark, NJ and have 10 years of teaching experience, from Preschool through High School. I plan to continue my studies by returning to Grad. School and obtaining a Masters Degree. I recently moved to Robbinsville, NJ and I'm looking forward to the 2019-2020 school year.
Fun facts about myself: I have a cat named Peanut, and I'm a lover of Science Fiction. I have a passion for traveling. This past summer I checked an item off of my bucket list, as I back-packed through France and Italy. Truly an incredible experience! :)
My philosophy of teaching is simple - Growth mindset plays a huge role in ones learning, both academically, socially, and emotionally. It's not about how many times you get knocked down, it's about learning to persevere and to never give up. I believe in differentiation by meeting each child where they are, provide them a path, (as well as support) which will take them to the next level. I believe that academics is just as important as social/emotional learning and it is important to also teach children how to be positive, well rounded, kind hearted, respectful and contributing members of society.
This will be my first year as a member of the Hamilton School District community and I could not be more happy to join this reputable district. Communication between parents and teachers is crucial for sucess, so I will always make myself available to speak. Please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
