Happy Friday! Daily attendance drag and drop has been posted on Google Classroom. Please have your child complete this activity daily starting today to let me know that they are completing assigned work on Google Classroom and Boom. I will check and log each day and this will count as attendance for the day. I will be reaching out this weekend to all families with a few changes to our Zoom lessons moving forward. During the months of April/May in the classroom we would usually be working on our butterfly unit and raising caterpillars. I am sharing an adapted version of the The Very Hungry Caterpillar with you that you can print and read at home. Happy Earth Day! Two adapted Earth Day books have been uploaded on Google Classroom as well as a printable matching activity. Adapted books are one of my favorite resources to use in the classroom as they give all students the opportunity to engage with text in a meaningful way.

New interactive AB patterns activity and printable have been uploaded on Google classroom. I will be sending each family a link to their child's Boom account. Boom cards are digital, interactive and self-grading activities that are individually assigned to your child. I have been exploring Boom all week and think it will be an incredible resource for distance learning.

I hope everyone had a nice spring break and enjoyed some family time. As we begin week 4 of remote learning I wanted to reach out with some updates going forward.
I would like to set up individual weekly zoom sessions as well as a whole group zoom once a week. Please reach out to me with times that work for you. I will be updating my teacher website and google classroom daily. Please reach out if you need help getting access or using online resources. If you would like more printed resources let me know and I can send more work packets home. As always please reach out via email or phone with questions or concerns.

We are now at the end of week 3 of remote learning and next week is spring break. Today, I am including a link to a transition song for cleaning up. I know that maintaining routine has been difficult but it is important to maintain schedules and structure. Play this song to signal that playtime is finished and it is time to clean up. New work packets will be ready for pickup today at school between 10-2. I included visual science experiments, visual schedules, and some individualized work. Please continue to work on the goal sheets sent home in the last packet as they should be worked on daily.
