    Positive Rewards System

When a student is caught doing the right thing by a staff member they may receive what we call KARES Kash.  Students may collect as much KARES Kash as they can and eventually exchange the Kash for selected items.  KARES Kash is an individual reward for positive behaviors.

When an entire class demonstrates and meets the expectations set for procedures / behaviors, they will earn what we call a Roo.

Our goal is to eliminate what the State defines as, "Chronic Absenteeism."  A chronically absent student is defined as a student that misses 10% or more of possible school days.  In our district that would be that the student has accumulated 18 or more absences in a school year.  This includes both excused and unexcused absences (even with a doctor's note).

If you have any questions or concerns dealing with anything here at Klockner School, please contact me as it is my job to make both our families and staff feel not only welcome but comfortable here at our school.
