Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to Mrs. Murkli's webpage!
You can find the Remote Learning link on the left hand side of my teacher page. Please click on the calendar or the assignment tab each day to find your child's assignments. There are many helpful links that your child can access to help them complete their assignments. Also, please have your child read the Morning Message each day. It will be updated with new information daily.
I will be available via email between the hours of 10am-2pm during the week if you have any questions. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or through our ClassDojo app.
Parents and Students,
Students are expected to check in to Google Classroom each day. They are to complete the attendance form as well as find their assignments for the day and watch any video lessons/links. They must attend weekly scheduled video chats on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with Mrs. Murkli. If they have other teachers they will meet with them on Tuesday and Thursday.
Thank you for your continued support during this time.
A Little About Mrs. Murkli
My name is Mrs. Murkli (formerly Miss Kanickij). I started my teaching career at Kisthardt Elementary School in 2009 teaching Basic Skills. I have been at Kuser Elementary School since 2011. I have spent most of my time at Kuser teaching second grade, however this year I have returned back to fourth grade.
I grew up in Hamilton and went to Langtree Elementary School, Crockett Middle School, and Steinert High School. I attended Rider University and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Psychology and Business Education. In 2013, I returned to Rider to earn my Master's Degree in Educational Adminstration.
I recently got married in December 2018 and reside in Florence, NJ with my husband John and our little pup Sophia. My sister is a fifth grade teacher at Mercerville Elementary and we love to share school stories with one another. I love to decorate and shop at Home Goods. Some of my other interests include exercising at the gym, putting family scrapbooks together, and cheering on my favorite Philly sports teams!
